All proceeds from the event benefits Aviation Education Outreach and its various programs.
AEO’s mission is to provide educational and development programs in support of expanding aviation experiences and opportunities for our community and surrounding areas. Aviation Education Outreach is a program within the Community Foundation of East Alabama, a 501(c)(3) organization led by an advisory committee of community volunteers. The program is funded by donations from private and corporate donors as well grants made possible through the generous support of the Cities of Auburn and Opelika, along with the Lee County Commission. AEO is working to build an endowment that will ensure long-term goals are successful. AEO aims to expose audiences to the wonders of aviation and open young minds to the possibility of a wide range of future aviation-related career opportunities through history, math and science. This event helps to further AEO’s mission.
Parking will be available at the event via shuttle. Sponsorship and volunteer opportunities are available. For more details and updates, contact: Johnny Lawrence, Chair, (334) 750-5091, ([email protected])
